All Causeway Bay bookshop staffs were missing without a reason. One of them named Minghai GUI was kidnapped in Thailand. He is a Swiss citizen. The bookstore is well known for selling political scandal books as its goal. Before disappearance of all staffs, the bookshop was preparing to publish a book that is called “the Xi’s mistresses”.
2016 January to March:
Bo Lu (British) , Ziping Zhang, Rongji Lin and Minghai Gui were discovered in a mainland China’s jail.
2016 March: Thee of them were returning to Hong Kong for dismissing their missing claims/cases. Lin was still locked in jail. In June, finally Lin was returning to Hong Kong and held a press conference- telling the truth of his disappearance. The kidnapping event then was shocking the world. Mr Lu and Zhang were denying Lin’ kidnapping proclaims, they insisted that they were freely traveling to mainland for providing assistance to an investigation - It was believed that they were forced by mainland China to cover the truth.
Due to the reason that Hong Kong has no extraordinary agreement with Mainland china plus Lin now is a famous role in the kidnapping scandal, the mainland politicians could not do anything to him. Lin chose to reject the demanding of mainland politicians and he said he would fight to the end for the right of freedom of press constitution.
2017 July: The Hong Kong local district court announced that six pro democracy representatives were violating the vow law. The qualifications of the representatives were removed.
2017 October: Gui was released, backing to Hong Kong.
2018 January: Gui was disappeared again - it was believed that he was kidnapped again by mainland China politicians/policemen.
2019 February: The Hong Kong government suddenly prompted the extradition law with Taiwan and Mainland China. It proclaimed that this law was to coordinate an investigation of a murder case of a Hong Kong couples.
2019 April: Nine umbrella movement leaders were pleaded guilty and were sentenced by local court. The thief officer of LOCPG said that the most important thing is the one country not the two systems in “one country and two system” law/structure - that person was believed that he has no idea on the “Sino British joint declaration”.
April 25th, Lin was forced to exile to Taiwan because he believed that he could be delivered to mainland when the extradition law has been passed. Lin was interviewed in a TV and revealed that he was forced to hand out the name list of the book buyers of “ xi’s mistresses” to mainland police. But he chose to disobey it. His proclamation was shocking the overseas chinese society.
In May: The extradition law entered the second reviewing process. It drew more attentions than before. The students of six universities in Hong Kong expressed serious objections and concerns on the law. At same time, two thousand judges of courts brought out a protest demonstration to deliver a clear message to the government.
5/25, Two pro democracy Hong Kong people were granted refugee status by German government. That is the first time that Hong Kong people got refugee status since 1997.
6/4: The Memorial Day of Tiananmen Square massacre. Many Hong Kong people were participating the event. ( according to the survey, many Hong Kong people are desperate of mainland China government dictatorship. ）
6/6: The extradition law was discovered by people that it was introduced on purpose to suppress the democracy activists in Hong Kong. Eventually, a huge protest demonstration was broken out on 6/9. Over one million Hong Kong people went out to the streets in central district in Hong Kong island, showing their hopes and expectations to the world.
In recent development, UK (the former Hong Kong regulator) and the US governments were expressing the serious concerns on Hong Kong human rights and democracy.
The world is awoken by the influence and the evil behaviors of communism politicians of Mainland China.
