The 14th amendment was written for the slaves who were legally living in united state of America for generations and it stipulates that all persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens!
However, this amendment was misinterpreted by the left wing politicians and lawyers later on! For years, some liberal American immigration lawyers objected the birthright citizenship only for citizens/neutralized people /permanent residents and they misled the public to believe that the law was applied for everyone including illegal immigrants, visitors and working Visas!
Some immigration lawyers also gave out a wrong message that the countries where the illegal migrants are from may not take their citizens’ children back. They said that It would not even be clear where the American government could deport them to. Those messages are totally wrong and misleading!
Almost all countries have a law which states that the child of its citizen who is born in overseas will be automatically granted by a citizenship by decent! Under this law, the countries where the illegal migrants are from must take their citizens’ children back because the children are citizens of their country no matter where they born!
