I was shocked by that news. How can that happen in this world? That is definitely not a natural fire. The fires are set up every where in Brazil by farmers on purpose. For sure, it must be something that is related to humans who set fires for some reason.
Someone told me that it is because farmers need more lands for growing soybeans. Hold on a second, let me think, why suddenly those famers need more lands for soybeans? Currently Brazilian produce over 80 million tons soybeans each year. That is good enough for the entire population in South America. Why they still want more?
I did a research and I found out this answer. The Chinese importers purchased 70 million tons soybeans from Brazil over last 12 months and they still want more. That pushed the soybeans price to a new level. Famers can make more profit from soybeans sale so they burn the rain forest for more lands and use them to grow the soybeans. It is that simple. Wow.
