Problems:
The economic globalization is causing a fair trade problem. It is not just happening to us but it is happening everywhere in the world today. The imported products from overseas are much cheaper than our domestic products that are made in local. Specially, those products from Mainland China(PRC) and Asia are usually sold with very cheap prices due to their low costs and cheap labors. These advantages and factors of oversea products cause an unfair competition issue to our domestic manufacturers. In western countries, we have much higher labor cost so there is no way that we can sell our products at same prices as them so we are losing the competition in the time lines as we are already losing now. Our domestic products are gradually losing the market. To be surviving, our manufacturers have to move their industry lines to overseas otherwise they are likely be closed down. That is causing another side effect - the domestic people lose their jobs. The unfair competition from overseas manufacturers take away our jobs! Now, what will be the solution to make the game fair? Why do we have to import some products that we can produce in our country? How do we stop this unfair competition?
Possible Solutions:
Some people suggested that we should put tariffs on all imported products that we can produce in domestic USA. Only those products that we can not produce will be on the exception list! If overseas manufacturers do not want to pay extra tariff then they must move their industries lines to here and hire the local labor forces - that regulation will guarantee a fair competition to all businesses. All same products will be competing to others in a fair environment where they have similar labor cost and expenses.
If we could not do it above then all imported products that we can produce in USA should be taxed!
